This is a follow-up to the Eoin McKeogh story I posted a few days ago.

It now turns out that Eoin McKeogh isn’t the person who was accused of getting out of a taxi without paying his fare (but leaving his phone in the car to be fraped, kind of…). Instead, it’s another Dublin person named Eoin Black.

I am sorry for Eoin McKeogh and I want the real story to be told. I don’t want the story to be twisted and blown up.This is between me, the taxi driver and Eoin McKeogh. I’ve paid my €50 fare and I thought that would be an end to it.

How someone leaves a phone in a taxi, does a runner, and has someone elses Facebook wall defamed by the taxi driver is beyond me. But this is a great example of internet vigilantism. Though having said that, I doubt this is the end of it…
