Facebook Home is a new HTC phone powered by Android (of course) that features a prominent use of Facebook as your “home”, as it were. This isn’t a fork of Android custom built just for Facebook. Moreso, Facebook is spooning Android and giving HTC a cuddle too. As Stephen Hackett says, “If Path and Flipboard… Read more »

Facebook Reports Fourth Quarter and Full Year 2012 Results
Monthly active users counted at 1.06 billion, an increase of 25% year-over-year (2011 to 2012). That is huge. Moreover, mobile revenue rose by 23% (having ads front-and-center in the app helps). And it appears that they’ll be ‘phased out’ in future versions of the app I’m not sure what they’re doing. Gruber reckons the issue is that as Instagram moves into new platforms it… Read more »
Twitter have added a hashtag-esque function to allow users to see the stock market price of a company. All you do is add a dollar sign to the front of a company trading name, e.g. $GE. Nifty, but third party apps won’t have this for a little bit I imagine. Moreover, Twitter’s third-world offering of… Read more »
